fall

Wow. most of my flowers are still making it through the fall. It has frosted lightly here and been in upper 30's at night. The daytime is still in upper 60's and rain has slacked off.

Today it is nice and sunny. I am going to weed out the flower beds. You must weed out flower beds regularly because any weeds will take and drink the water and nutrients that was meant for your flowers. Eventually your flowers will die off because the weeds will choke them out. Only a few weeds can do this so beware.

RAIN

We have got quit a lot of rain last night and today. We are supposed to get more later today and it is supposed to be moved out tommorrow. This is a good thing because my flowers are getting over run with weeds again. Weed be gone works well in flower beds however it won't keep all the weeds out especially when your watering every day. Comming soon I will have pictures on here that will show you a couple of the flower beds and how they are doing. It has been very dry, I am thankful for the rain, it keeps me from having to water everything. Because it takes me two hours to water all of the plants and the flowers.

Plants

Well today for about 10 minutes it rained. This is good because it was hard and watered everything for me. All my trees, shrubs, and flowers are doing great. So are the weeds though, i need to get out there soon and weed all my flower beds.

Well to name a few that i have : pansies,petunias,marigoulds,geraniums,snapdragons,and many more. I really love to plant them in early spring through early fall. It just depends on the weather and the flowers. It has been extremely hot and dry here, but all of mine are surviving with tlc from me. I saturate the ground around them in the early morning or late evening. Doing this saves them from being burnt looking and damaging them.
